Dear colleagues,<\/strong><\/p>\n

23-28 June, 2014 Institute of Cytology and Genetics SB RAS (Novosibirsk, Russia) holds the next International Conference on the Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure\\Systems Biology, ninth since 1998. The registration for the conference is open\u00a0online<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u0412GRS conference series is a traditional international biennial event that gets together in Novosibirsk biologists, computer scientists, physicists, mathematicians and biochemists working in an interdisciplinary field of systems biology biotechnology and genetics. The previous event, BGRS\\SB-2012, hosted more than 400 participants from 21 countries, confirming the Conference as largest system biology meeting series in Russia.<\/p>\n

The BGRS\\SB-2014 will be associated with Multi-conference \u00abBioinformatics and System Biology\u00bb integrating bioinformatics and experimental approaches to investigate biological systems and processes.<\/p>\n

The Multi-conference and the BGRS\\SB-2014 Program will include plenary lectures and sectional presentation, round tables, and traditional Young Scientists School “Systems Biology and Bioinformatics”.<\/p>\n

Best materials presented at the multi-conference will be recommended by session chairmen for full-text publications in special issues of the peer-reviewed journals (with ISI impact factors).
\nThe Organizing Committee has preliminary agreements with \u201cJournal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology\u201d (www.worldscientific.com\/worldscinet\/jbcb<\/a>), \u201cJournal of Inverse and III-posed Problems\u201d (http:\/\/www.degruyter.com\/view\/j\/jiip<\/a>), \u201cJournal of Biomolecular Structure and Dynamics\u201d\u00a0and \u201cBMC Genomics\u201d (www.biomedcentral.com\/bmcgenomics<\/a>) for post-conference special issues.\u00a0The papers will be reviewed by the session chairmen and the PC members\u00a0after the multi-conference\u00a0to be published in 2014.<\/p>\n

The BGRS\\SB-2014\u00a0conference program\u00a0<\/a>will include the following sections:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  2. Proteomics, metabolomics and computational pharmacology.<\/li>\n
  3. Systems computational biology.<\/li>\n

  6. Systems biology of host-pathogen interactions.<\/li>\n
  7. Evolutionary Biology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    International Symposium\u00a0Mathematical Modeling and High-Performance Computing in Bioinformatics, Biomedicine and Biotechnology\u00a0<\/strong>(Prof. S.I. Kabanikhin)<\/p>\n

    Open seminar of German\/Russian Virtual Network on Bioinformatics<\/strong>\u00a0“Computational Systems Biology”.<\/p>\n

    The Young Scientists School \u201cSystems biology and Bioinformatics\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(SBB-2014)<\/a><\/p>\n

    Invited scientists will give review lectures on modern topics of systems biology and computer modeling of gene networks. The School program will include oral presentations by young scientists and PhD students. Best young scientists presentations will be awarded by prize from the Committee and sponsors.<\/p>\n
