{"id":882,"date":"2015-12-14T12:04:18","date_gmt":"2015-12-14T09:04:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/conf.bionet.nsc.ru\/bgrssb2016\/?p=882"},"modified":"2023-09-13T12:26:16","modified_gmt":"2023-09-13T05:26:16","slug":"english-information-letter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/bgrssb2016\/english-information-letter\/?lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Information letter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dear colleagues! \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On <strong>29<\/strong> <strong>August <\/strong>\u2013 <strong>2 September<\/strong>, 2016 the Federal Research Center Institute of Cytology and Genetics of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (ICG SB RAS, Novosibirsk, Russia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.icgbio.ru\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.icgbio.ru\/<\/a>) will held a 10th anniversary International Multiconference on Bioinformatics of Genome Regulation and Structure\\Systems Biology \u2013 <strong>BGRS\\SB-2016<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Since 1998 the conference of BGRSSB series are held every two years. Highly qualified professionals, academicians and PhD students working in interdisciplinary field of modern bioinformatics, computational systems biology, medicine, pharmacology, biomedical engineering, biotechnology, plant genetics and animal breeding gather together in Novosibirsk Akademgorodok to discuss actual problems and modern issues of these science disciplines.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, Multiconference BGRS\\SB-2014 was attended by <strong>483<\/strong> researchers and students from 27 countries. More than 300 reports were presented (abstracts are available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/bgrssb2014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/bgrssb2014<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multiconference BGRS\\SB-2016 will include the following research sections and meetings:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Symposium \u201cGenomics, transcriptomics and bioinformatics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cProteomics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cSystems biology\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cEvolutionary bioinformatics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cComputational pharmacology\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cBioinformatics and systems biology of cell death\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cNeuroinformatics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Section \u201cBioinformatics and molecular biology synergism in DNA damage response studies\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cSystems biology of aging\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cHuman genetics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cAnimal genetics\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cBioinformatics and systems biology of plants\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Symposium \u201cMathematical modeling and high performance computing in bioinformatics, biomedicine and biotechnology\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Series of collateral events are planned in the frames of the multiconference:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Open Russian-German workshop on bioinformatics network \u201cSystems computational biology\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/sbb2016\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Young Scientists School \u201cSystems Biology and Bioinformatics\u201d, SBB-2016: 22-25 August 2016<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Sino-Russian Symposium on systems and computational biology with Chinese universities (BRICS countries).<\/li>\n<li>The seminar \u201cSystems biology programmed cell death\u201d.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/bgrssb2016\/tour-altai\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pre-conference tour to Altai mountains.
