According to the requirements of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) and the Russian legislation, foreign colleagues need to make a humanitarian visa to participate in the forum “Biomedicine-2016”. Participation in the forum with a tourist or business visa is prohibited by the FMS rules.
To make the humanitarian visa, you need an invitation letter, which is prepared by the forum organizing committee for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. To get the invitation letter, please send e-mail with the subject “Visa for “Biomedicine-2016”” to the following address: celltec2014@gmail.com.
The letter should contain:
- Passport copy (the page with photo) (PDF or any graphics format);
- Complete office address;
- Post code;
- Fax number;
- Phone number;
- The name of the city where the visa has to be prepared (in the Russian consulate in the country).
For residents of EU countries and the USA, visa letter is free. Turnaround time is 1 week.
For residents of countries in Asia and the UK, the processing fee for the visa letter is 500 rubles. Turnaround time is 1 month. Visa letter processing fee should be paid later on arrival to the forum at the registration desk.
