Call for participation<\/b><\/p>\n

The East-West Science Centre in\u00a0cooperation with the Institute of\u00a0Cytology & Genetics (SB\u00a0RAS) and the Department of\u00a0Bioinformatics of\u00a0the University of\u00a0Bielefeld organize the German-Russian Forum Biotechnology in\u00a0Novosibirsk. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0the Forum there will be\u00a0a\u00a0special EU-Panel concerning European Perspectives in\u00a0the 7th Research Framework Program (FP7).<\/p>\n

The German-Russian Forum will give the participants the opportunity to\u00a0present their work to\u00a0the audience with the objective to\u00a0gain possible future cooperation partners. In\u00a0addition to\u00a0the Forum and the EU-Panel there will be\u00a0the opportunity to\u00a0establish first contacts or\u00a0to\u00a0intensify cooperation during individual Cooperation Talks and to\u00a0visit Biotechnology Institutes and Enterprises in\u00a0Novosibirsk and Akademgorodok.<\/p>\n

The Forum themes will include: Molecular Biology & Molecular Medicine, Agriculture & Forestry Biotechnology, Nutrition & Food Biotechnology, Environment Protection, Bioinformatics. Supplementary German-Russian Summer School \u00abBiotechnology & Bioinformatics\u00bb for young researchers will take place at\u00a0June, 18-19.<\/p>\n

For the German participants there is\u00a0an\u00a0option for financial support from the German side.<\/p>\n

For the Russian participants there is\u00a0an\u00a0option for financial support from the Russian side (this will depend on\u00a0the Forum overall financial support and will be\u00a0defined in\u00a0more details later).<\/p>\n
