On July 30 – August 3, 2012, the Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology & Biochemistry and Institute of Cytology & Genetics SB RAS
\norganize\u00a0the 2nd International Conference “Plant Genetics, Genomics, and Biotechnology”<\/strong>\u00a0(Irkutsk, Russia).
\nThe Conference will present state-of-the-art results in the field of plant genetics, genomics, and biotechnology and discuss the promising directions of collaboration in basic and applied aspects of plant genome research.<\/p>\n

Conference plans to discuss the following issues:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Plant genome organization and evolution;<\/li>\n
  2. Plant physiological and ecological genetics;<\/li>\n
  3. Genetics and breeding in a changing environment;<\/li>\n
  4. Genetic engineering, chromosome and cell biotechnology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The working languages of the conference will be English and Russian.<\/p>\n

    Conference location:<\/strong>
    \nThe conference will be held in Irkutsk, one of the oldest Siberian cities, which is close to the famous\u00a0Lake Baikal.<\/p>\n
