The poster is devoted to studying the effects of heat stress on transgenic tobacco plants that overexpress the CDPK1 Arabidopsis gene. Mutant forms with modified sensitivity to cytoplasmic calcium were studied. Used HPLC, real-time PCR and ELISA. In the presented work we showed that the transformation of tobacco plants to a constitutively active modified form of the gene AtCPK1 (KJM23-OE plant) allows significantly to mitigate such negative heat stress effect as chlorophyll degradation.
