{"id":269,"date":"2025-01-21T08:31:43","date_gmt":"2025-01-21T05:31:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/plantgen2025\/?page_id=269"},"modified":"2025-12-03T08:48:47","modified_gmt":"2025-12-03T05:48:47","slug":"school","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/conf.icgbio.ru\/plantgen2025\/en\/school\/","title":{"rendered":"School of Young Scientists"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 5th <strong>School for Young Scientists on Plant Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology<\/strong> (PlantGen School 2025) will take place before the <strong>PlantGen2025<\/strong> conference.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The school is funded by a grant from the Russian Science Foundation No. 21-76-30003-P, <a href=\"https:\/\/rscf.ru\/project\/21-76-%2030003\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/rscf.ru\/project\/21-76-%252030003\/&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1764823367368000&#038;usg=AOvVaw1B7mjd-VjfwGj8ouqg-GrE\">https:\/\/rscf.ru\/project\/21-76- 30003\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The dates of the school are<\/strong>:<br \/>\n30 June to 2 July (inclusive). 2 July 2025 &#8211; the first day of the PlantGen2025 conference (plenary day) is included in the school program.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>The School&#8217;s main areas of research are<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Molecular markers and genome editing in plant genetic research;<\/li>\n<li>Directions for genome modifications of agricultural plants;<\/li>\n<li>Molecular genetics and plant breeding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The school will include the following activities:<br \/>\n&#8211; Lectures on scientific directions and the theme of the school (morning 30.06 and 01.07);<br \/>\n&#8211; Workshops (afternoon 30.06 and 01.07, morning 02.07);<br \/>\n&#8211; Plenary lectures at the opening of the PlantGen2025 conference (02.07).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>Lectures of the School:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">June 30 (Monday):<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Kochieva Elena Zaurovna<\/strong>, D.Sc.
