The program of PTB-2012 will include the following scientific sections:

1. High-throughput DNA sequencing in biology and medicine. (microsymposium I)
2. General and medical proteomics (microsymposium II)
3. Personalized medicine (microsymposium III)
4. Synthetic biology
5. Bionanotechnology for diagnosis and therapy
6. Therapeutic proteins and nucleic acids

The Multiconference program will include the following microsymposia:

• I. Computational and experimental genomics
• II. Computational and experimental proteomics
• III. Human genetics and personalized medicine: theoretical and experimental aspects
• IV. Genetic diversity of laboratory animals in addressing fundamental and applied problems in postgenomic biology
• V. Skolkovo: biology and innovations
