Dear colleagues!

The PlantGen conference was organised by the staff of ICIG SB RAS in 2010 and has been held every two or three years: 2010 (Novosibirsk), 2012 (Irkutsk), 2015 (Novosibirsk), 2017 (Almaty, Kazakhstan), 2019 (Novosibirsk), 2021 (Novosibirsk), 2023 (Kazan).

In 2025, the conference will be held in Novosibirsk from 2 to 5 July.

The conference will present the results of the latest research in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics and plant biotechnology, and it is planned to discuss promising research directions (including collaborative research) on basic and applied aspects of plant genome research.

The proposed directions of the conference work are
  1. Plant genome structure and evolution, comparative genomics.
  2. Genetic regulation of phenotypic traits formation in plants.
  3. Molecular and genetic regulation of plant physiological processes.
  4. Genetic engineering and plant biotechnology.
  5. High throughput phenotyping of plants: methods and applications.

The Organising Committee offers the possibility of organising workshops during the conference.

The working languages of the conference will be English and Russian.

Possible forms of participation in the conference
– In person;
