THE GENETIC LANGUAGE: INITIAL DETERMINATIONS:
MOLECULAR GENETIC REGULATORY SYSTEM (MGRS) of the cell is the totality of irregular cell biopolymers (DNA, RNA, proteins and their agregates) along with the systems carrying out various processes involving these biopolymers, i.e. various operations with genetic information.
GENETIC LANGUAGE is totality of rules and regularities of encoding of genetic information in genetic texts.
GENETIC TEXT is linearly ordered sequence of monomer symbols of continuous macromolecules (DNA, RNA, or proteins) participating in the encoding of genetic information. The genetic texts are concrete realizations of genetic language.
GENETIC INFORMATION is totality of molecular and more complicated biological features and functions encoded in genetic texts.
CODE OF GENETIC INFORMATION is correspondence between the genetic texts and molecular features and functions encoded by them.
