Computational Pharmacology session

The session will cover the modest approaches and the cases studies in the area of the Computational Pharmacology, from the search for drug targets and biomarkers to the rational drug design, including the study of drug action, ADME properties and side effects of drugs. The section will focus on the methods of Omics data analysis, system biology, bio- and chemoinformatics used in drug discovery and personalized medicine for the therapy of socially significant diseases, including cancer, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, neuromuscular disorders and rare diseases.

The major topics of the session:

– Genomic and postgenomic approaches in drug target, biomarker and drug discovery

– Omics data and pathway analysis for personalized medicine

– Molecular modeling in drug design & discovery

– Chemoinformatics and chemical biology

– Computational estimation of ADME properties and toxic effects in drug discovery
