New, high-performance methods for sequencing (NGS) radically transformed modern biological research, providing massive sequencing of entire genomes of organisms and providing opportunities for the study of genomic associations sequencing of individual genomes. New tasks of computer assembly (assembling) of the total bacterial and eukaryotic genomes de novo, annotatation of complete transcriptome of cells, tissues and organisms (RNAseq technology), metagenomic gene search in the experiments are arising.
Other “-omics” technology are followed by the study of the functioning features of the body, such as level of genes expressions (transcriptomics), the changes of spectrum, number and activity of all proteins in a cell or tissue (proteomics), composition and metabolite concentrations (metabolomics), regulation of gene expression (epigenomics ).
