We offer you the structure of the program of the School SBB-2017.

The school will take place on the basis of the two organizations: Nikita Botanical Garden (NBG) and the Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking “Magarach” (Magarach). Further, the schedule indicates where it will take place each day.

25 of June – NBG (Sunday): Arrival of participants, accommodation, registration, welcome party.

26 of June – NBG (Monday): Registration, opening, lectures.

27 of June – NBG (Tuesday): Lectures.

28 of June – NBG + departure (Wednesday) – Excursion Day:

For participant the following Excursions are for free:

  1. Excursion to the Nikitsky Botanical Garden (NBG). NBG was founded in 1812. There are  more than 800 people working in the NBG: doctors and candidates of sciences, research assistants and master of landscape management. NBG is the largest in our country repository of species and varietal diversity of southern fruit crops, including more than 11,000 varieties of peach, apricot, plum, cherry, apple, pear, quince, figs, pomegranates, olives, Jujube, persimmon and other crops. It contains unique collection of ornamental trees and herbaceous plants, with more than 6,000 species, and rich high-quality and shaped collection of more than 250 botanical species of aromatic, medicinal and spicy aromatic plants (NBG website).
  2. Tour to Bakhchisaray with excursion to the “Khan Palace”. “Khan Palace” in Bakhchisaray is a former residence of the Crimean khans. It is a historical and cultural monument of global importance, the world’s only sample of the Crimean Tatar palace architecture. The palace is part of the Bakhchisaray Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum. There are museum of history and culture of the Crimean Tatars, an art museum, an exhibition of weapons and firearms in the Palace. The territory of the palace complex occupies 4.3 hectares. 29 of June – NBG and Magarach (Thursday): practical workshops (two blocks for 4 hours each). The list of workshops  is here. Cooperation meeting for representatives of  school organizers organizations.

30 of June – NBG (Friday): reports of young scientists, poster session, closing ceremony.
